Privacy Policy
Effective July 13, 2026
1. Who we are
Beaconline Institute LLC, 411 N Harrington Street, Suite 260, Raleigh, NC 27603, is responsible for personal information collected through this website and through consultation requests. Questions about this policy or a privacy request can be sent to privacy@beaconlineinstitute.com or made by phone at +1 (919) 555-0184. We provide instructor-led systems administration training and related course-planning consultations.
2. Information we collect
When you ask for a consultation, we collect the information you place in the form: your name, organization, email address, phone number, industry, the skills or challenge you describe, and your meeting preference. If you communicate with us by email or phone, we may retain the contents of that exchange and ordinary contact records. We also receive limited technical information from browsers, including device type, browser settings, pages viewed, approximate location inferred from an IP address, and timestamps.
We do not ask for payment card details on this site. Please do not put account credentials, medical details, government identifiers, or other sensitive information into the course inquiry form.
3. Why we use information
Form information is used to answer the request, discuss course fit, schedule a consultation, prepare a private-cohort proposal when requested, and maintain a record of the interaction. Our legal basis where required is consent when you choose to submit a request, and our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries and operating the site. If a training agreement is made, we may use information to perform that agreement and meet recordkeeping duties.
Usage data helps us understand which pages are useful and whether the site works on different devices. It does not give us a reason to make automated decisions about you. Beaconline does not sell personal information for money.
4. Cookies and similar storage
The site uses necessary storage to remember your cookie choice. With your permission, it may use analytics and marketing cookies that measure visits and ad conversions. Necessary storage supports page preferences; analytics storage helps us see aggregate traffic patterns; marketing storage may measure the effectiveness of advertising. Analytics and marketing scripts are held back until you choose “Accept all.” Choosing “Necessary only” keeps those optional scripts off.
You can adjust browser settings to remove or block cookies. Blocking all storage can affect preference features. You may also clear the local storage entry for this site to see the consent notice again. Our cookie notice links here so you can make that choice before optional tracking begins.
5. Service providers and disclosures
We use hosting, email, scheduling, security, analytics, and advertising conversion service providers to run the site and respond to inquiries. Providers receive only the information needed for their role and are expected to protect it under contractual or legal duties. Analytics may use IP-masking controls where available. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights or safety of Beaconline, learners, or the public, or during a business transfer such as a merger or asset sale.
Some providers may process information outside your state or country. Where a transfer law applies, we use appropriate safeguards such as contractual commitments or a lawful transfer mechanism. No transfer mechanism removes every risk; we assess vendors before using them for this site.
6. Retention and security
Consultation requests are generally kept for 24 months after our last meaningful contact, unless a longer period is needed for an agreement, tax record, dispute, or legal obligation. Training records are retained according to the applicable agreement. We then delete or de-identify records using reasonable procedures.
We use transport encryption, account access limits, role-based permissions, and operational review practices intended to reduce unauthorized access. No internet service can promise absolute security. If an incident affects your information and notice is required, we will provide notice as required by applicable law.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask for access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of personal information. You may object to certain processing, withdraw consent for optional cookies, or ask us to limit use while a request is reviewed. California residents may request the categories and sources of personal information collected, the business purpose for use, and information about disclosures. California residents may also request deletion and may direct us not to sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Beaconline does not knowingly sell personal information.
To make a request, email privacy@beaconlineinstitute.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. Tell us enough to identify the relevant interaction and your relationship to Beaconline. We may ask for reasonable verification before acting. An authorized agent may submit a request with proof of authority. You may appeal a decision by replying to our response and explaining the concern. You can also complain to the privacy regulator or attorney general that applies to your residence.
8. Children and policy changes
This site is for adults and workplace training inquiries. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child supplied information, contact us and we will review the request promptly.
We may update this policy when our practices, services, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top shows the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted here before they take effect when practical.
